Shake Ya Tailfeather Suited & Rebooted

Welcome to Shake Ya Tailfeather on the web

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by and taking a look at our site.  The first half of the year has been a busy time for the band.  For our first show of 2010 we brought our Blues Party to the Customs House in South Shields.  Various private functions, charity events and Blues Parties on the Sea Front and Alston Town Hall followed and we've enjoyed every one.  Now we're returning to the Customs House on the 1st of October bigger and better we are suited and rebooted!

The Bio sections of the site will be completed in the next couple of weeks so you can get a closer look at each of the lads in the band whether that's a good thing or not I'll leave up to you...

Remember to keep an eye on our blog section and you can now follow us on both Facebook and Twitter:

All the best!!

Shake Ya Tailfeather are back!

The band has played all over the North in pubs, clubs, hotels, theatres and outdoor festivals. Now it's time to let the theatre experience begin!
Following a very successful Blues Party at The Customs House Theatre back in March 2010 the band are setting up for a North East theatre tour.
Led by front man and former Emmerdale star Dale Meeks, Shake Ya Tailfeather with their mix of blues, soul and rock are using their Suited & Rebooted show as a blueprint for a tour with a new look and new sound.

Andrew

Shake Ya Tailfeather have a new member we would like to welcome Andrew Richardson to the band to take over on keyboards.

Andrew has stood in with us before and really impressed at the Sanddancer show we couldnt be happier that he has now joined the band on a full time basis.

Andrew's profile will be online shortly, we're going to need to think of a nickname for him though!

Lauren Waine and Eliza McNamara

Shake Ya Tailfeather would like to welcome their street team.

Lauren Waine and Eliza McNamara spent the weekend promoting the band, handing out flyers and charming the people of South Shields. We would like to thank them for their time and talent and tell the people of South Shields to keep an eye out for them in the future as they are both North East singers and performers. If you see our team out and about then take a flyer, go buy a ticket and please Bend Over and Shake Ya Tailfeather!

Live @ the Trimmers for NSPCC

Shake Ya Tailfeather performed live in aid of the NSPCC at the Trimmers Arms in South Shields on Thursday the 22nd of July.

Thank you to everyone that came down and dug deep for the charity.  You helped us raise £490 on the night and generated a great atmosphere!

Thank you to everyone who donated raffle and auction prizes and a big thank you to Gemma McStea who did a fantastic job of organising the event.  Gemma is also taking part in the upcoming Great North Run to help raise more funds for the NSPCC.
